Southern Winslows: Vol. I and II
The Quaker and Southern Winslows The Quakers and Southern Winslows is a genealogical compilation that It lists family trees into the 20th century, and is useful to any Winslow whose family lived in or migrated from North Carolina or Indiana. This book was the first effort to coordinate information from many sources referring to the North Carolina and Indiana Winslows. It began as a family genealogical project, but evolved in an effort to trace the Winslows from North Carolina to Indiana through 1880, retaining one generation of the daughters family after her marriage. Old Cemetery Burials of Milwaukee County Wisconsin Old Cemetery Burials of Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, Elizabeth Doherty Herzfeld, CGRS This is an alphabetical listing of burials found in some of Milwaukee County's older cemeteries. The book was compiled as a research tool, since death records were not publicly recorded until after 1872, and birth, death, and marriage records not required until after 1907. None of this information is available on microfilm. Cemetery records are arranged alphabetically by the surname of the deceased. The information is taken from various sources, including burial records and physical listing of tombstones. Each of the over 10,000 records contains some of the following information about the deceased: cemetery where buried, surname, given name, maiden name, date and place of birth, date and place of death, names of others listed on the same or adjacent stones, location within cemetery, and marital status. The range of dates extends from the late 1700s to the late 1900s. Volume 1 includes the following cemeteries:
