Experienced & Resourceful
Elizabeth (Betty) Herzfeld began researching her own families in the late seventies. Living in the Boston area at the time, she had easy access to the Census Records.
As she became more involved − specifically attempting to trace her orphaned father's roots − she eventually traced nearly 40 families in her ancestry, several back to revolutionary days, with at least one of those providing eligibility for the Jamestowne Society. Several ancestors were in the Revolutionary War.
Professionally, Betty is a member of the National Genealogical Society, the Association of Professional Genealogists, and is a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (in Southern Utah). She is a past Registrar, Milwaukee D.A.R. Chapter.
Betty has published several books (See Publications) and articles (See Articles), and provides services to those researching their ancestry, and to professional search firms.
