Peter WYKE was born about 1658, probably in England. Peter married Huldah
LADD, daughter of John LADD and Mary [-?-]. She was born about 1660 possibly
in Virginia. She probably married before her father's death in 1679.
She is not mentioned in his will.

1689, 30 Sept., Henrico County, Robert Cate to Peter Wyke: Cate will apprentice
himself to Wyke to serve him in trade of shoemaker for 4 yrs.........
1695, 3 June Charles City County, Richard Cock vs. Peter Wyke referred.
1695, 5 Aug. Charles City
County, Suit of Richard, late Sheriff of Henrico, agst. Peter Wyke for Nov.
appearance, is dismissed, Barth Fowler attorney for Richard Cock, Ben: Harrison
Atty for deft.
Peter attended the wedding of Samuel Jordan of Nansemond
County and Elizabeth Fleming of New Kent County, Virginia on 10 10th mo (Dec)
1703 at Henrico Monthly MM in Virginia along with Nathan Newley (Newby)[2].
Peter and Huldah Wyke had the following children:

Margaret
married Robert HUNNICUTT about 1700. Robert was born about 1678. (SEE
